Transfer Process to IVY College
Start your next chapter with confidence. Transferring to IVY is simple and student-centered.
Whether you're currently studying at another U.S. college or university on an F-1 visa, or you’re looking to switch institutions for a better academic fit, IVY College welcomes transfer students with a streamlined and supportive process.
Step-by-Step Transfer Process
step 01
Submit Your Application
- Complete the online IVY College Application Form.
- Indicate you are a transfer student on your application.
- Pay the non-refundable application fee.

Submit Required Documents
- Upload or email the following:
- Copy of your valid passport and F-1 visa
- Copy of your I-20 from your current school
- Official transcripts from all previously attended colleges or universities
- Proof of English proficiency (if applicable)
- Bank statement and affidavit of support (to show sufficient financial support)

Receive Your IVY College Acceptance
- Once your application and documents are reviewed, you will receive an official acceptance letter and
Transfer-In Form from the DSO (Designated School Official).

Request SEVIS Transfer-Out from Your Current School
- Take your IVY College acceptance letter and Transfer-In Form to the DSO at your current school.
- Request them to release your SEVIS record to IVY College (School Code: [insert SEVIS code]).
- Your SEVIS record must be released before the program start date at IVY.
step 05
Receive Your New I-20 from IVY College
- After the SEVIS transfer is completed, IVY College will issue your new Form I-20.
- You are officially ready to start your program at IVY!
Transfer Eligibility Requirements
- Must currently be in valid F-1 status
- Must maintain a minimum 2.0 GPA (undergraduate) or meet program-specific academic requirements
