2006
In January 2006, Ivy Christian Academy received recognition from the State Council of Higher Education for Virginia to operate under Virginia’s religious institution exemption. Its original mission centered on religious training and theological education.
2016
On May 17, 2016, Ivy Christian College received certification from the State Council of Higher Education for Virginia to operate as a degree-granting postsecondary institution. This milestone supported the College’s expansion beyond its original religious and theological focus into broader academic and professional fields.
2024
As the institution’s programs and student community continued to expand, Ivy Christian College adopted the name IVY College. The name reflects a broader educational mission while preserving the institution’s longstanding commitment to accessible, student-centered learning.
