Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to https://ivu.edu (“Site”), operated by IVY College (“IVY College,” “IVY,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms and Conditions, also referred to as Terms of Use (“Terms”), govern your use of our Site, services, portals, forms, tools, resources, and all related content made available through or in connection with the Site.

By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, please refrain from using the Site.

These Terms apply to all visitors, prospective students, applicants, current students, alumni, employees, job applicants, vendors, partners, and any other users who access or use the Site. Certain areas of the Site, including admissions tools, student portals, alumni resources, career forms, online learning tools, event registrations, and other institutional services, may be subject to additional policies, procedures, agreements, notices, or requirements.

We may update these Terms periodically. Your continued use of the Site after any changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Use of the Site

IVY College provides information about educational programs, admissions, student services, institutional resources, campus updates, alumni engagement, career opportunities, events, and related academic or administrative offerings. The Site is designed to help students, prospective students, alumni, employees, job applicants, and visitors understand and engage with IVY College and its programs.

You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not interfere with the rights of others, the operation of the Site, or the security of IVY College systems.

You may not use the Site to:

• Violate any local, state, national, or international law or regulation

• Infringe upon or violate the intellectual property rights, privacy rights, publicity rights, or other rights of others

• Upload, transmit, or distribute any malicious code, malware, viruses, spyware, harmful files, or other destructive material

• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, accounts, servers, systems, portals, databases, or networks connected to the Site

• Disrupt, damage, disable, overburden, or interfere with the Site’s operation, security, availability, or functionality

• Use automated systems, bots, scraping tools, or data-mining tools to access, copy, or extract information from the Site without written permission

• Misrepresent your identity, affiliation, qualifications, or relationship with IVY College

• Submit false, misleading, incomplete, or fraudulent information through any form, portal, application, registration, or inquiry tool

• Use the Site to harass, threaten, defame, abuse, intimidate, or harm another person or organization

• Attempt to reverse engineer, copy, modify, or interfere with any portion of the Site, software, code, or related technology

• We reserve the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate access to the Site for violations of these Terms or for activity that we determine, in our sole discretion, may harm IVY College, Site users, students, employees, systems, operations, or institutional interests.
  

Intellectual Property Rights

All content on this Site, including but not limited to text, graphics, images, photographs, videos, logos, icons, designs, layouts, documents, downloads, software, source code, user interface elements, program descriptions, trademarks, service marks, and other materials, is the property of IVY College or our licensors, unless otherwise stated.

This content is protected under U.S. and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. The IVY College name, logos, marks, and related brand elements may not be used without prior written permission from IVY College.

You may access and use the Site for personal, informational, educational, admissions-related, or institutional purposes consistent with these Terms. You may not reproduce, modify, republish, upload, post, transmit, distribute, sell, license, create derivative works from, or exploit any part of the Site or its content without prior written permission from IVY College.

Unauthorized use of IVY College content, marks, materials, systems, or intellectual property may result in legal action.

User Submissions

If you submit any materials, information, feedback, inquiries, forms, applications, registrations, comments, files, documents, or other communications to IVY College through the Site, you are responsible for ensuring that the information you provide is accurate, lawful, and does not violate the rights of any third party.

By submitting content through the Site, you grant IVY College a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, store, process, modify, publish, display, distribute, and otherwise use your submission for institutional, administrative, educational, operational, communication, or service-related purposes, subject to applicable law and our Privacy Policy.

This license does not give IVY College unlimited rights to publicly disclose personally identifiable information, student education records, confidential applicant information, or other protected information except as permitted by law, consent, institutional policy, or our Privacy Policy.

You represent and warrant that any submissions you provide are your original work or that you have the necessary rights, permissions, or authority to submit them. You further represent that your submissions do not infringe, misappropriate, or violate the rights of any third party.

IVY College is not required to return, preserve, display, publish, respond to, or act upon any submission. We may remove, restrict, or decline to use any submission at our discretion.

Admissions, Enrollment, and Academic Information

The Site may include information about academic programs, admissions requirements, tuition, fees, financial aid resources, student services, course descriptions, academic calendars, institutional policies, career resources, and other education-related content.

While IVY College works to keep information accurate and current, Site content is provided for general informational purposes and may not always reflect the most recent updates, approvals, catalog language, policy revisions, program requirements, tuition changes, schedule changes, or institutional decisions.

Use of the Site does not constitute admission, enrollment, registration, financial aid approval, academic standing, transfer credit approval, graduation eligibility, licensure eligibility, employment eligibility, or any other formal institutional status. Admission, enrollment, registration, academic progress, financial obligations, and graduation requirements are governed by official IVY College policies, catalogs, enrollment documents, program requirements, institutional procedures, and applicable law.

Program information, tuition, fees, schedules, course offerings, faculty assignments, modality, campus availability, policies, and requirements may change at any time. IVY College reserves the right to modify, suspend, discontinue, or update programs, courses, services, requirements, schedules, calendars, policies, or Site content without prior notice, subject to applicable law and institutional policy.

If there is a conflict between information on the Site and official institutional documents, the official catalog, handbook, enrollment agreement, policy, or written communication from an authorized IVY College representative will control.

Student Portals, Accounts, and Online Services

Certain areas of the Site or related digital services may require an account, login, password, or other access credentials. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You agree to provide accurate account information and to update it as needed. You may not share login credentials, use another person’s account without permission, attempt to access restricted areas without authorization, or interfere with portal security.

IVY College may suspend, disable, restrict, or terminate accounts or access credentials if we believe there has been unauthorized use, security risk, policy violation, or other activity inconsistent with these Terms or applicable institutional policies.

Student portals, online learning environments, academic systems, payment tools, career tools, alumni systems, and related digital services may also be governed by separate terms, policies, technology requirements, acceptable-use rules, or vendor agreements.

Third-Party Services and Links

The Site may contain links to third-party websites, platforms, tools, systems, applications, or services for your convenience. These may include, without limitation, payment processors, application tools, learning management systems, student portals, event platforms, career platforms, alumni tools, social media sites, maps, video platforms, scheduling tools, or other external services.

These third-party sites and services are not under our control. IVY College is not responsible for their content, accuracy, availability, privacy policies, security practices, terms, or procedures.

We make no endorsements, guarantees, or warranties regarding third-party services unless expressly stated in writing. Your use of third-party sites or services is at your own risk and may be subject to the terms, conditions, and privacy policies of those third parties.

Disclaimers

The Site and all information, materials, tools, services, and content provided through the Site are offered “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

IVY College disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, accuracy, availability, security, non-infringement, and uninterrupted operation.

We do not warrant that the Site will operate without error, interruption, delay, defect, or security vulnerability. We do not warrant that the Site, servers, emails, files, downloads, or third-party tools will be secure or free from viruses, malware, harmful components, or other destructive code.

We do not guarantee that Site content is complete, current, error-free, or applicable to your individual circumstances. You are responsible for confirming important information directly with IVY College before relying on it for admissions, enrollment, academic, financial, career, employment, or other decisions.

Information on the Site does not constitute legal, financial, medical, immigration, employment, licensure, or professional advice. Users should consult the appropriate professional, advisor, agency, or IVY College office for guidance specific to their situation.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, IVY College shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages resulting from or related to:

• Use of or inability to use the Site

• Errors, omissions, inaccuracies, delays, or interruptions in Site content or functionality

• Unauthorized access to or alteration of your data

• Statements, conduct, content, or services of any third party on or linked from the Site

• Viruses, malware, technical failures, system errors, or security incidents

• Reliance on information provided through the Site

• Changes to programs, policies, schedules, services, tuition, fees, or institutional information

• Submission, processing, delay, loss, or rejection of forms, applications, registrations, or inquiries

• Any other matter relating to the Site or these Terms
  

To the fullest extent permitted by law, IVY College’s total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Site, these Terms, or your use of the Site shall not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars ($100).

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability. In such jurisdictions, our liability will be limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless IVY College and its officers, directors, trustees, employees, faculty, contractors, agents, representatives, affiliates, licensors, vendors, and service providers from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, judgments, costs, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or related to:

• Your use of the Site

• Your violation of these Terms

• Your violation of any applicable law or regulation

• Your violation of any rights of a third party

• Your submissions, content, information, or materials provided through the Site

• Your unauthorized access to or use of Site systems, portals, accounts, data, or services

• Your misuse of IVY College content, intellectual property, name, logos, or materials
  

This indemnification obligation will survive termination of these Terms and your use of the Site.

Termination

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to the Site, accounts, portals, forms, tools, or related services at any time, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms or act in a way that disrupts, harms, or threatens the Site, IVY College, users, students, employees, systems, data, or institutional operations.

We may also suspend or terminate access when required by law, institutional policy, vendor requirements, security needs, account inactivity, system maintenance, or operational necessity.

Termination of Site access does not affect any obligations you may have to IVY College, including academic, financial, contractual, conduct-related, confidentiality, or policy-based obligations.

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms, the Site, or your use of the Site will be resolved exclusively through binding arbitration in Fairfax County, Virginia, in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, unless otherwise required by applicable law.

You waive the right to bring or join any class action, collective action, consolidated action, private attorney general action, or representative proceeding against IVY College.

If any portion of this arbitration or class-action waiver provision is found to be unenforceable, the remaining portions will remain in effect to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Changes to These Terms

IVY College reserves the right to revise these Terms at any time. We will post updates to this page and may revise the effective date or provide additional notice where appropriate.

You are encouraged to review these Terms periodically. Continued use of the Site after updated Terms are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you should stop using the Site.

Education-Specific Use of the Site

As an institution of higher education, IVY College provides information and services related to academic programs, admissions, enrollment, student support, career preparation, alumni engagement, institutional resources, online learning, events, and related educational operations.

Any interaction you have with academic programs, application portals, student portals, online learning tools, alumni services, career services, event registrations, or student support services through this Site is governed not only by these Terms but also by applicable institutional policies, academic catalogs, student handbooks, enrollment agreements, program-specific guidelines, technology policies, privacy notices, and applicable laws.

Use of these sections of the Site does not constitute formal admission, enrollment, registration, student status, program completion, graduation eligibility, employment eligibility, licensure eligibility, transfer credit approval, or any other institutional determination unless all required processes have been completed and IVY College has issued the appropriate official confirmation.

Student records, academic information, education records, and related institutional records may be subject to separate rights, obligations, retention rules, disclosure rules, and privacy protections under institutional policy and applicable law, including where applicable the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act.

Users are responsible for reviewing official institutional materials and contacting the appropriate IVY College office with questions about admissions, enrollment, academic requirements, student records, tuition, financial obligations, program completion, or other education-specific matters.
